The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has identified a mother and her son, who were found dead Monday afternoon in a San Tan Valley home.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office identified a mother and her son who were found dead Monday afternoon in a San Tan Valley home.  

The Sheriff's Office said 43-year-old Griselda Rodriguez and her 6-year-old son, Nathan Arteaga, were found in a home located near Schnepf Road and Castlegate Boulevard.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the home for a call regarding a suicidal person about 2:30 p.m.

The Pinal County Medical Examiner's Office had yet to determine the cause of death.

No suspects were being held, and no further information was released by the Sheriff's Office as of Wednesday afternoon.
