Pine Hill man dies in Marengo County wreck, Alabama troopers say

A 39-year-old Pine Hill man died and a 17-year-old sustained injuries Tuesday afternoon in a head-on crash in Marengo County, Alabama troopers said

At around 12:10 p.m., Norman L. Pritchett's 2014 Chevrolet Captiva collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a Pine Hill teen.

Pritchett was pronounced dead while he was being taken to a hospital. The teen was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on Marengo County 55 near Alabama 25, about 10 miles south of Pine Hill, in Marengo County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are conducting an investigation into the crash.
