Pink adds second show at Xcel Energy Center in October

Global pop star Pink has added an Oct. 17 show at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center, where she is already scheduled to headline on Oct. 18.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Citi cardholders and Verizon customers have access to a presale that runs from 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday. Neither the promoter nor the venue announced ticket prices. As of Monday, Ticketmaster had non-resale seats for Oct. 18 starting at $329.95 and topping out at $995 for “platinum” tickets.

The Script and KidCutUp are also on the bill.

The woman born Alecia Beth Moore has dominated the pop charts with a series of hits that include “There You Go, “Get the Party Started,” “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” “Just Like a Pill,” “Who Knew,” “So What,” “Raise Your Glass,” “Try” and “Just Like Fire.”

The 44-year-old, who is known for her mid-air acrobatics in concert, hasn’t had a major solo hit since 2017’s “What About Us,” although her Keith Urban duet “One Too Many” hit the Top 10 on the country charts in 2020. Still, she remains a popular draw in concert. She sold out Xcel Energy Center in 2018 and 2019 and also played the Armory in 2018 during Super Bowl Weekend. Her outdoor show at Target Field last August broke the venue’s previous attendance record set in 2015 by Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean.

Pink’s 2023 world tour sold nearly three million tickets and grossed $350 million, making it one of the year’s biggest tours.
