Pink’s Summer Carnival Stadium Tour will bring her to Comerica Park in August
Pink will headline a Detroit stadium for the first time in her career when she plays Comerica Park on Aug. 16.
The show will be part of the pop star’s just-announced Summer Carnival Stadium Tour, which will take her to ballparks across North America next summer.
Tickets for Pink’s shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 through Ticketmaster. A ticket presale for Citi card holders will run from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 11 p.m. Sunday via citientertainment.com. A presale for members of Verizon’s customer loyalty program will run from noon Thursday through 11 p.m. Sunday via Verizon Up.
Brandi Carlile — who performed with Pink while honoring Dolly Parton at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s recent induction ceremony — will open the Comerica Park show and most other dates on the tour. Los Angeles band Grouplove and DJ KidCutUp are also in support.
Pink’s high-flying stage productions have long made her a top arena draw, including a 2019 doubleheader at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The Summer Carnival tour, which will launch in Toronto on July 24 and wrap up in Phoenix on Oct. 9, is her first dedicated stadium run.

But she has done one stint on a metro Detroit stadium stage: Indeed, her first Michigan performance came as an opener for ‘N Sync at the Pontiac Silverdome in summer 2000, just after the release of her debut album.
