Jansport, one-shouldered, rolling: Backpack trends come and go. But this year, we caught wind of one bag in particular that both parents and kids are going nuts over: the Doughnut Macaroon Backpack.
Indeed, searches for the Doughnut Macaroon have skyrocketed 574 percent on Pinterest in the last few months. Maybe it’s the fun colorblock design and the countless color combinations? Or it could be the spacious, stylish construction, replete with interior pocket organizers. OK, actually, it must be the fact that it’s made with water-repellant twill, so even if it’s not within range of an umbrella, homework, cell phones and laptops are kept nice and dry.
As parents, we also love how cushiony the straps are (seriously, you have to feel them) and how sturdy it is, even when stuffed to the brim.
We’re even considering buying a Macroon backpack for ourselves. After all, BTS is just as hard on the person packing the lunchbox.
