Congratulations are in order for Pippa Middleton and her husband, James Matthews.

Middleton’s mom, Carole, just addressed the elephant in the room and confirmed that Pippa is expecting her second child.

“I hope to see more of my family than I could last year, including, of course, my new grandchild,” Carole said during an interview with Good Housekeeping U.K.

We’re not entirely surprised by the announcement, since Page Six previously broke the news back in December 2020. Although their source revealed that the pregnancy is progressing as planned, no one had confirmed the gossip…until now.

“Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year,” the source said. “The entire family is delighted.”

Middleton and Matthews tied the knot back in 2017 in an intimate ceremony at St Mark’s church. They are now parents to a 2-year-old son named Arthur. Although the family currently lives in London, many believe that they are in talks to purchase a 72-acre country estate. The home, called Bucklebury Farm Park, is located in Berkshire, England, which is a short drive from the Middleton’s family home.

Pippa is the younger sister of Kate Middleton. This means the duchess’s three children—Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2)—will be getting another cousin in the near future.

Fingers crossed Pippa debuts her growing baby bump sooner rather than later.
