Piscataway police arrest Stelton Road bank robbery suspect

PISCATAWAY – A suspect has been arrested in a robbery of Provident Bank on Stelton Road Thursday afternoon, police said.

Around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, a suspect robbed the bank and then fled the scene before authorities caught him an hour later, police said.

No other information has been released.

In a Facebook post, township officials thanked the police department for their "quick and effective response."
