Pitbull, Nelly added to Masters Week 2022 concert lineup at Lake Olmstead Stadium

Two more superstar headliners have been confirmed for a new concert series being organized for 2022 Masters Week in Augusta.

Rappers Pitbull and Nelly will perform at Lake Olmstead Stadium, joining country musicians Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton for their respective shows announced in mid-September, according to spokesperson Megan Paquin via email late Thursday.

Nelly will open for Shelton on Wednesday, April 6, and Pitbull will open for McGraw on Thursday, April 7. All four are multi-platinum recording artists and are top names in their respective genres.

The performances are part of XPR Augusta, a new, multi-night, VIP-style series of concerts being organized by C4 Live entertainment company during Masters Week, which is April 4-10. The Masters Tournament is set for April 7-10 at Augusta National Golf Club.

Paquin said another headliner and opening act for an April 8 show will be announced in the next few weeks.

Ticket for the concerts are available at XPRAugusta.com. General admission tickets start around $175 with multi-day and VIP tickets available.

The Augusta Commission approved C4 Live to complete a $1.7 million renovation of Lake Olmstead Stadium in January 2020. The Masters Week shows will be the first of many events produced by C4. A soul music festival is in the works for late April 2022.
