Take a spin inside Paradox Bus

The Paradox Bus is an art exhibit on wheels that will feature the colors of El Paso in a bright mural inside the bus that also will have interactive elements for the public. The Colores El Paso exhibit will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 29 at the El Paso Community College Transmountain Campus parking lot. Cost: $5 to enter the bus and interact with the exhibit.

Don't miss 'Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel' tour

"Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition," a self-guided tour, will open Friday and run through Jan. 1 at Sunland Park Mall. The tour features fabric graphics that are about 80% of the life-size artwork from the Sistine Chapel ceiling at the Vatican. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets: $22.20 for adults, $14.95 for youth ages 4-12. Discounts are available for seniors, students, military and family bundles. Purchase online at https://chapelsistine.com/exhibitions/el-paso. Get out to the Shakespeare Festival

The Madeline Park Family Shakespeare Festival will feature the upcoming production of "As You Like It" Friday and Saturday at Madeline Park, 900 E. Baltimore Drive, between Baltimore and Cincinnati Ave. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a family market with vendors selling crafts, vintage clothing, teas and plants. The play will begin at 6:45 p.m. Admission is free and patrons are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs and snacks.

Artist Hal Marcus has pop-up

The Hal Marcus Gallery is having a pop-up Arts & Crafts Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Jewelry, recycled art, artisanal chocolate, hats, meditation, handbags, folk art, fall decorations and more will be available at 1308 N. Oregon St. The gallery also is holding an online auction featuring 64 works by 30 local artists from 7 a.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Monday, with all opening bids from $10 to $99; sales tax and shipping costs are not included. The 18th Annual Sunset Heights Tour of Homes will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for children 10 and younger. On the day of the tour, tickets can be purchased at the Burges House, 603 W. Yandell Drive, starting at noon, and the Hal Marcus Gallery, 1308 N.
