Pitt Panthers football QB Kedon Slovis out for second half against Tennessee football

Pitt football quarterback Kedon Slovis is not expected to play in the second half against Tennessee Vols football with an undisclosed injury, the program said Saturday.
Slovis was hurried nine times, sacked twice and hit numerous times in the first half. Slovis was sacked by Tyler Baron and fumbled with 14 seconds left in the half, then slowly walked off the field.

Nick Patti started the second half at quarterback for Pitt, who had 278 total yards in the first half. Patti, a senior from Hillsdale, New Jersey, started the Peach Bowl against Michigan State last December. He also started a 2019 win over Delaware.
Tennessee led 24-17 at halftime.
