Pittsburgh area concert news: Alice in Chains & Maren Morris headed here

Alice in Chains and Breaking Benjamin will launch a co-headlined summer tour at The Pavilion at Star Lake.
Country-pop star Maren Morris will headline the Stage AE outdoor stage.
And guitar ace George Thorogood returns to The Palace Theatre in Greensburg.
That's the big concert news announced Monday for the Pittsburgh area.
American rock bands Alice In Chains and Breaking Benjamin come together for the first time as co-headliners, joined by special guests Bush. The 30-city tour kicks off Aug. 10 at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com
Grammy-winning crossover country star Maren Morris hits the road this summer, too, for a tour reaching Stage AE, Pittsburgh on July 15. The warmup act will be Brett Cobb. The public sale of tickets begins at 10 a.m. March 11. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning 8 a.m. Tuesday. Tickets are $49.50 in advance ($55 the day of the show) and $99 for platinum seating.
Morris’ new album "Humble Quest" is out March 25.
Meanwhile, Drusky Entertainment announced Thorogood and his Destroyers will play The Palace on June 19. Tickets to see the "Bad to The Bone" singer-guitarist go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday with a promoter online presale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Tickets cost $39.75 to $69.75 (price includes $1 donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).
