First Look: Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh opens downtown

The Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection brand, has officially opened in downtown, replacing the Distrikt Hotel that opened in 2017.

The 185-room hotel, located at 453 Boulevard of the Allies, underwent a redesign as part of the rebranding, with new offerings meant to showcase local businesses. The focal point of the new lobby is the “offering table,” where guests can pick up beer from Voodoo Brewery, wine from Pittsburgh Winery and spirits, snacks and coffee from Nicholas Coffee. The lobby also includes a curated library, provided by Amazing Books and Records, as well as board games and records from Get Hip Records. A seasonal rental bike program is also available, courtesy of Thick Bikes.
