Pittsburgh Public Schools Creates 'Student-Support Categories' Ahead Of April 6 Reopening

Pittsburgh Public Schools has released more information about how it will get students back to in-person learning

- Pittsburgh public schools released their plan tonight to get students back into classrooms. The district is focusing on those who are struggling with online learning. Those doing well in categories one and two will be the last to return to the classroom. About 4,800 students not demonstrating progress or those in pre-K and kindergarten will be the first to return on April 6th. [INAUDIBLE] be followed by [INAUDIBLE] making some progress on April 26th. The district says families will find out their child's category early next month.
