Pizza Days Comes To Wilmington

WILMINGTON, MA — The local pizza chain Pizza Days has opened a Wilmington location.

Owner Hakki Dengizli appeared before the Wilmington Board of Selectmen Tuesday to obtain a common victualer's license, which the board approved unanimously.

The store had already had a soft opening for delivery and takeout, but needed the license for seating.

"I used to live here and I'm ready to serve everyone," Dengizli said. "Hopefully after this COVID situation we're going to have more business."

The chain has locations in Burlington, Revere and Medford, among other places. It serves pizza, oven-toasted subs and other entrees and sides.

"We appreciate you opening up under difficult circumstances," Board Chair Jonathan Eaton said.
