A Pizza Ranch is coming to Lisbon in 2023, town officials confirmed

Pizza Ranch plans to open in Lisbon next year, according to a press release from  the company.

“We are excited to be opening a Pizza Ranch in the town of Lisbon,” said part-owner of Pizza Ranch Robert Rehm. “Not only are we developing a Pizza Ranch, but alongside it, we are excited to be opening a FunZone Arcade in the next 12-18 months.”

Town Administrator Kathy Nickolaus said the business will be built in Lisbon Business Park East at Townline Road and a new road being constructed this summer, Lieds Lane.

“Lisbon is excited Pizza Ranch chose Lisbon as one of their new locations,” said   Nickolaus.

Lisbon Business Park East was formed in 2020 and is part of the town's first TIF district, approved by town officials in 2018. It is at Townline Road and Main Street (Highway 74) at the former site of Lied's Nursery. Lied's closed about 12 years ago.

According to company officials, Pizza Ranch is a buffet and dining concept that features pizza, chicken, a salad bar and a dessert buffet. The FunZone Arcade will include a variety of games with a redemption prize counter.

According to company officials, Pizza Ranch will also have party rooms for business meetings, gatherings and birthday parties.

Pizza Ranch started in 1981 and is based in Orange City, Iowa, and owns, operates and franchises more than 207 locations in 14 states, according to the company news release.

A Pizza Ranch opened in Waukesha in 2018.
