‘A Place at the Table’ Soundtrack Releases Its First Video

Since its release last week, A Place at the Table has set off a nationwide dialogue about our country’s food insecurity epidemic. An intimate look into the lives of three families struggling to keep themselves fed, the film illustrates our nation’s struggle with hunger and the changes necessary to overcome it.

The movie’s stirring soundtrack, featuring original songs by T-Bone Burnett and The Civil Wars, is now out on Sensibility Music. Its first video, set to the track “Long Time Gone,” was released today on AOL Music.

In support of finding an enduring solution to hunger in America, The Civil Wars, T-Bone Burnett and Sensibility Music have agreed to donate proceeds from the soundtrack to the Participant Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding sustainable solutions to social issues.

A Place at the Table is produced by Participant Media, a parent company of TakePart.
