Need a place to watch fireworks? Middle Tennessee has a host of July 4 celebrations to attend
Excited for the big city's Fourth of July experience? Nashville's got you covered.
Need a smaller crowd? There's no shortage of family-friendly events across Middle Tennessee.
Davidson County
Downtown Nashville: The city will host the 19th annual "Let Freedom Sing!" Fourth of July event. Organizers expect crowds in excess of 350,000.
The event is free, but upgraded packages are available.
The event boasts the largest fireworks display in the city and will be timed to a performance by the Nashville Symphony.

Gates open at noon Monday. A stage at First and Broadway will feature various musical acts throughout the day. The symphony will begin warmups about 9 p.m. at Ascend Amphitheater with fireworks to begin about 9:30 p.m.
The amphitheater will open around 4 p.m. for early birds to get the best seats.
Nashville Shores: Fireworks will return to the waterpark for two nights to celebrate the holiday.
The shows, planned for Sunday and Monday, are included for season pass holders and anyone with a single-day ticket.
Waterpark attractions will close at 8 p.m. with fireworks scheduled to begin about 8:45 p.m.

Williamson County
Franklin: Fourth on July 4 will kick off downtown at 10 a.m. Local bands will fill the streets with music, antique car enthusiasts will display their vehicles and a kids parade will begin at 5 p.m.
A fireworks display is planned at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm, less than a mile from downtown festivities. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled to begin at about 9 p.m.
Brentwood: Red, White and Boom will kick off at 7 p.m. July 4 at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater in Crockett Park. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 p.m. and families are welcome to arrive early for dinner.
Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Sumner County
Gallatin: The "Mountain of Foam" will return for this year's July 4 celebration at Triple Creek Park.
The event will begin Monday at 3 p.m.. Multiple food and business vendors will be on site, as well as a DJ.
Fireworks will begin after sundown.
Hendersonville: The city's annual Freedom Festival will be held Sunday from 5-10 p.m. at Drakes Creek Park. Nearly 100 vendors will be on site for the event. Live music, talent competitions and a kid zone will be available for the children.
The youth area is $5 per child with a maximum of $15 per family.
Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Wilson County
Lebanon: The Fourth of July celebration is all about the free — free parking, free admission, free hot dogs and free watermelon.
The event starts at noon at James E. Ward Agricultural Center, where a crafts table, car show, balloon artist and inflatables will be set up. Additional food vendors will be available.
Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m.
Mt. Juliet: Tailgating begins at Circle P Ranch around 5 p.m. with fireworks to begin at 9 p.m.
Food vendors will be available along with a bounce house and live music. A Civil War cannon will be ignited to signify the upcoming fireworks display. The show, organizers said, will last more than 30 minutes.

Rutherford County
Murfreesboro: "Celebration under the Stars" will open at 4 p.m. Monday at the Fountains at Gateway.
Food trucks and family activities will be on site. Live music will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with The Cleverlys, a comedy music act from Arkansas.
Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
A 25-minute fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
Smyrna: The city's Independence Day Celebration will come early this year. The event will begin Friday, July 1, at Lee Victory Recreation Park at 5 p.m.
Children's activities, games, food vendors and live music will be available for attendees. Both playgrounds at the park will be open.
Smyrna's Honor Guard presentation will begin at 8:45 p.m. with fireworks to follow.
