PLAIN TWP. – A parking ban has been issued for Plain Township.

The ban will be in effect 6 p.m. Sunday through 6 p.m. Monday due to a possible snow storm. Three to five inches of snow are in the forecast.

The ban is for the safety of plow drivers, first responders and the traveling public, the township said. It also helps the plow drivers clear the road at a faster pace.

Residents should park cars in driveways and off roadways.

Any vehicles that are found in violation of the parking ban could be ticketed or towed.
