Plainsmen represented on cross-country All-State team
Oct. 29—Laramie was represented on both the 2023 Wyoming Coaches Association cross-country boys and girls 4A All-State teams.
For the boys, senior Dominic Eberle was the lone Plainsmen on the boys team and the girls were represented by freshman Claire Arens.
Star Valley was well-represented with Habtamu Wetzel, Jase Burton, Peter Lorch, Colton Cranney and Drake Plowman making five-of-10 runners selected.
Cheyenne Central's Bridger Brokaw and Race Morrell earned spots on the team. They were joined by Natrona County's Kalel Brubaker and Kelly Walsh's Micah Cooling.
On the girls team, Natrona County led the way with three runners selected. Mustangs' Ally Wheeler, Ashley Gross and Nicole Clark earned spots.
Central's Rian Cordell-Reiner and Emma Hoffmeister were joined by Cheyenne East's Maggie Madsen as the nominees from the Capital city. The remainder of the girls team consisted of: Jackson Hole's Madison Antonio, Sheridan's Kayley Alicke and Kelly Walsh's Lexi Longhurst.
