Plainville man in critical condition after motorcycle crash in Southington

A Plainville man was critically injured in a motorcycle crash early Saturday in Southington.

John Reardon, 31, of Plainville was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound when a Toyota Venza driving south attempted to make a left-hand turn into Cumberland Farms at 909 Queen Street. The bike and car collided a little after 2 a.m., according to the Southington Police Department.

Reardon was taken to the Hospital of Central Connecticut with critical injuries, police said.

The driver of the car was not injured, police said.
