A company specializing in plant-based soaps and body products is expanding to Lafayette with a location in the Ambassador Town Center.

The business, called Buff City Soap, is opening Thursday at 114 Meadow Farm Road in Suite 108. The first 50 people to visit the new store each day from Thursday through Saturday will get a free bar of soap every month for a year.

The shop will have other promotions like 20% off any purchase, 30% off any purchase of $100 or more, and buy one laundry soap and get one 50% off.

“This will be Buff City Soap’s fifth location to open in Louisiana and we are extremely grateful for the warm welcome our locations have received from local communities here so far,” said local owner, Jeff Lauseng, in a release. “We are confident that customers at our new Lafayette location will truly love how they can customize and create their own products in-store and can’t wait to open our doors and begin inviting them in.”
