All Abilities Club: Art For All

DOVER — On Wednesday, May 10 at 11 a.m. join the All Abilities Club at the Dover Public Library. These weekly programs are geared towards adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their caregivers. In this inclusive program we will create art and craft projects and each session will feature a hands-on activity featuring different art explorations.

Hanging Basket and Green Thumb Plant Sale

DOVER — The GFWC - Dover Area Woman’s Club is holding its third Hanging Basket and Green Thumb Plant Sale. They are currently taking preorders for four types of floral baskets (order deadline May 11). Baskets are picked up on Saturday, May 20 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Dover Chamber of Commerce. Also on that day, they will have their Green Thumb member grown plant sale, along with a children’s planting table. Proceeds to benefit Haven NH and the Club’s volunteer programs. Mother’s Day Grief Support Workshop

EXETER —Gather together with others who are also missing mom during this Mother’s Day holiday for a one-day grief support workshop on Friday, May 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Exeter Hospital Campus, 4 Alumni Drive, Exeter. FARMINGTON — The Spring Cider Social held Saturday, May 13, is a one-day celebration of New Hampshire apples and agriculture, including cider tastings featuring Farnum Hill Ciders, Bird Dog Ciders, North Country Hard Cider, and Hermit Woods Winery; presentations on apple growing and cider-making; kid’s activities; a farm market with Meadowview Sugarhouse, Sanborn Hope Farm, and SeaBee Honey; as well as arts and crafts by Carrie Tazbir and CEI Designs. Somersworth Festival Association Spring Craft Fair

SOMERSWORTH — The Somersworth Festival Association is hosting its 30th Annual Spring Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 13 at Somersworth High School, 11 Memorial Drive, Somersworth, N.H. The craft fair will feature over 100 talented artisans offering wood crafts, laser engraved items, bird houses, home décor, paintings, mugs, tote bags, gnomes, wind chimes, kids' items, jewelry, doll clothes, and photography, as well as sewn, knitted, and crocheted items and more. Vendors will be inside and outside. There will also be raffles. The cafeteria will be offering food for sale.
