Platte-Geddes places a pair on all-Southeast South Dakota first-team

Mar. 24—Winner's Brady Fritz earned the top spot on the Southeast South Dakota Conference all-conference team, while Platte-Geddes had two players notch first-team selections.

While Fritz topped the first-team, teammate Blake Volmer was a second-team pick for the Warriors, who went unbeaten in conference play.

Caden Foxley and Kelby VanDerWerff represented the Black Panthers, while Chamberlain's Drayton Priebe and Mount Vernon/Plankinton's Reed Rus capped the first-team honorees.

Gregory's Coy Determan and Daniel Mitchell were second-team picks, as were Chamberlain's Sellyck McManus and Wagner's Toby Zephier.

In total, Chamberlain had four members on the all-SESD squad, with Cameron Caldwell and Hayden Evans notching third-team accolades. They were joined by the Parkston duo of Max Scott and Cole Prunty, along with Wagner's Nolan Carda.
