By now, you've most likely heard of Wordle—the daily five-letter word-guessing game that's taken the world by storm. It's prized for its simplicity and the fact that it's available to anyone who has access to a phone or web browser (meaning, it's free!). So if you've already mastered the tricks to figuring out Wordle, or you're simply looking for a new game to play, we've got some good news! The latest game in town has our name written all over it. Okay, okay, it's not called The Pioneer Woman Game (although that sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it?). Instead, this recently launched game called "Phoodle" is just like its Wordle counterpart, but with one major difference: it's all about food!

The game, which was created by cookbook author Julie Loria, is perfect for fans of crossword puzzles, brain busters, or anyone who's hungry for more word-related games. In her launch post on Instagram, Loria said, "Test your culinary expertise by guessing a food-related term, from ingredients to appliances to famous chefs and more!"

Just like with Wordle, users have six chances to guess a five-letter word—any word as long as it relates to food. That means, it can be an ingredient, a cooking method, a popular chef, or more. After each guess, you may see a letter highlighted in green (which means the letter is in the correct spot) or yellow (which means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot). If the letters are gray, it means it's not in the word at all. Guessing the correct word wins you a fun food fact or tip. And, each day is a new word!

So if you're looking for a new challenge or you just want to test your culinary expertise, try Phoodle today and let us know what you think of the game in the comments below!
