Who played the most? Snap counts from Ohio State football's win at Northwestern

Freshman Jyaire Brown served as Ohio State’s No. 3 cornerback in a 21-7 win at Northwestern on Saturday.

As he spelled Denzel Burke and JK Johnson, Brown played 28 out of 77 snaps, according to tracking by Pro Football Focus.

It was his biggest role since starting the Big Ten opener against Wisconsin in September amid injuries.

Brown was the top backup instead of Jordan Hancock, a redshirt freshman who was sidelined for the first six games because of a hamstring injury but had returned to the rotation in previous weeks. Hancock did not make an appearance at Northwestern despite an expectation for increased playing time.
