Player grades: Bulls snap 76ers eight-game winning streak on Monday

The Chicago Bulls won their third-game in a row on Monday night as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 109-105, in double overtime to snap Philadelphia’s eight-game winning streak.

The game was back-and-forth all night long as neither team led by more than eight points.

In double OT, Derrick Jones Jr. came to the rescue down the stretch, blocking a layup attempt from James Harden with 14 seconds remaining to help clinch the game for Chicago.

Chicago’s Big 3 of DeRozan, LaVine, and Vucevic all scored over 20 points, combining for 72 points in the victory.

With the win, the Bulls moved two games ahead of the Washington Wizards for the No. 10 seed.

Nikola Vucevic: A-

Nikola Vucevic did his best to hold his own on Monday against Joel Embiid, finishing with 21 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and four steals on an efficient 8-of-12 from the field.

Coby White: A-

Coby White provided a much-needed spark off the bench for the Bulls on Monday, finishing with 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists on 4-of-9 shooting from the floor.

Derrick Jones Jr: A

Derrick Jones Jr. saved the game for the Bulls with a game-clinching block with 14 seconds remaining. Jones Jr. finished with 10 points, three rebounds, one assists, and one block in a game-high +13.
