Eric Dailey Jr. joins Oklahoma State basketball 2023 recruiting class. Meet the others.

STILLWATER — After adding just one high school recruit in the 2022 class, the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team is looking to add more from the prep level in the next year.

The Cowboys are off to a fast start, with four commitments. The latest came Wednesday with the addition of Plano (Texas) star Justin McBride.

Here is a look at the players committed in the class of 2023:

Eric Dailey Jr., F., Bradenton, Florida

A four-star, left-handed forward from IMG Academy, Dailey committed to the Cowboys on Jan. 11 and was the second-highest rated recruit remaining in the 2023 class. The 6-foot-7 senior is the No. 52-ranked player in the class, according to 247Sports.com, and his commitment boosted the Cowboys’ class to No. 10 nationally. Like fellow OSU commit Brandon Garrison, Dailey played for Team USA’s U18 squad this summer, winning gold in the FIBA Americas Championship with Mike Boynton as an assistant coach. Dailey is the son of former TCU star Eric Dailey Sr. and former WNBA head coach Shell Dailey. He chose OSU over Memphis or going pro.

Connor Dow, F, Broken Arrow

A 6-foot-5 sharp-shooting wing, Dow chose the Cowboys over offers from Oral Roberts, Toledo and South Dakota State among others. And he immediately provides a boost from deep for a team that was last in the Big 12 from 3-point range last season. Dow, who was AAU teammates with OSU commitment Brandon Garrison, shot 44% from behind the arc over the summer on the EYBL circuit. He is an unranked recruit, but he visited OSU in late August and committed just a few weeks later, receiving an offer on Tuesday, Sept. 6, during an unofficial visit, according to PistolsFiringBlog.com.

Brandon Garrison, F, Del City

A 6-foot-9, four-star recruit, Garrison chose the Cowboys over the summer over OU, Kansas, Arkansas, Houston, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, SMU, Tulsa and others. He’s the state’s highest-rated recruit in the class, and for good reason. Last season, he averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game while leading Del City to the Class 5A state championship game. He then played for Team USA’s U18 squad, winning a gold medal in the FIBA U18 Americas Championship with OSU coach Mike Boynton serving as an assistant coach. Garrison provides a big presence on the court with his elite defense, budding offense and strong passing.

Jamyron Keller, G, Killeen, Texas

A 6-foot-1 guard from Ellison High, Keller chose the Cowboys over finalists TCU, Texas, VCU, Kansas State, Stephen F. Austin, Oral Roberts and Saint Louis. Keller was a huge riser over the summer on the AAU circuit, averaging 12.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists for Drive Nation in Nike’s EYBL circuit. A four-star recruit according to ESPN and three-star recruit according to Rivals and 247Sports.com, Keller brings versatility with his football-like frame and athleticism.

Justin McBride, PF, Plano, Texas

A 6-foot-8, four-star recruit from Plano High, McBride chose OSU over finalists Missouri and Arizona State on Wednesday. The Cowboys offered the fast-rising prospect in July and he visited in early September. He is a summer-league teammate of Cowboys commit Jamyron Keller. McBride averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists over the summer on Nike’s EYBL circuit. At the Peach Jam, he was dominant as he averaged 16.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, including a 33-point outburst while shooting 5 for 8 from deep in one game.
