Plot Twist: J.Lo's Vacation with Ben Affleck Was Supposed to Be with A-Rod
Of all the baffling celebrity moments that 2021 has given us, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez vacationing in the same spot right after their breakup has to be in the top five. Especially since J.Lo chose this trip to go public with Ben Affleck and recreate their butt-touching scene from the "Jenny from the Block" video. It's all just a lot!
So, naturally, curious minds would like to know who booked their trip first and how this even happened. According to Us Weekly, J.Lo and A-Rod had planned to go to St. Tropez together for her birthday before their split, and they both went ahead with the trip.
“Jen and Alex had planned to go to the French Riviera for J. Lo’s birthday this year and neither of them changed their plans,” a source told the outlet. “Alex didn’t know Jen would still be going, but he wasn’t phased when he found out her boat was nearby. He was distracted with his own guests.”
So...what it sounds like is Jen wanted to visit St. Tropez for her birthday and Alex decided to still go even though they'd broken up? Huh! And now here we are, with both exes on their respective yachts, almost running into each other every day. But apparently A-Rod doesn't seem to mind, with the source saying he "is living his best single life. He’s really enjoying [being] a bachelor.”
