PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters are on the scene of a building fire on Old Easton Road in Plumstead Township. There are several fire trucks on the scene, and cars are being detoured, authorities said.

Action News reports the specific location of the building fire is at 5190 Old Easton Road, which is the site of Penn Engineering.

Drivers in the area should "please be prepared for several detours on local roadways," police said in an alert.

Parents of students at nearby Tohickon Middle School will be able to pick up their children but cars will only be able to access the school using Old Easton Road from Point Pleasant Pike.

The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
