The seminar, “Fulfilling Our Infinite Potentials: Solving the World’s Problems,” will be held in Hobson Hall at Plymouth Harbor, 700 John Ringling Blvd., in Sarasota on Tuesdays starting April 4 from 2-3:30 p.m. and continuing on April 11, 18, and 25.

Dr. Bernard Phillips, co-author of "Creating Life Before Death: Discover Your Amazing Self," will lead the seminar and those attending will receive the textbook. Phillips has a B.A. from Columbia, an M.A. at Washington State, a Ph.D. from Cornell, and professorships at the University of North Carolina, Illinois, and Boston University.

Phillips will explain how participants can learn an interdisciplinary approach to human behavior based on his lifetime of behavioral research. Participants will discuss the relevance of their own experiences. According to Phillips, the academic disciplines and mass media have yielded only partial understanding of human behavior.

Jeff Weatherhead, the new president and CEO of Plymouth Harbor, will introduce the seminar. “I’m delighted to open up this event to the wider community and invite the public to attend at no charge,” Weatherhead said.

To reserve a place, e-mail Phillips at bernie@behavioral-scientists.com or call 941-361-7426. Note: Drive up to the front entrance, and parking will be arranged.
