Poconos, Lehigh Valley spots to catch fireworks shows July 4 weekend

Celebrate Independence Day all weekend long with these concerts and firework displays in the Poconos and Lehigh Valley.

Patriotic in Bethlehem

ArtsQuest’s Fourth of July celebration kicks off 3:30 p.m. Monday with several free afternoon concerts and food vendors including Bull and Bear and MMG Concessions.

This event will also be the last chance to for attendees to see the Hometown Heroes 2022 banner that features over 1,500 photos of local military veterans and was set up as an exhibition for Memorial Day.

The SteelStacks campus is an ideal spot to see the fireworks display put on the by Bethlehem starting at 9 p.m.

The concert lineup features country crooner Kendal Conrad at 3:30 p.m., classic rock group, Band of Brothers at 5:30 p.m., the Allentown Band at 7:30 p.m., and local fave/blues rocker, Big Bone Daddy at 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks by the beach

Check out the fireworks display Monday featuring live music by M80 and food vendors outside Camelbeach at Camelbach Resort starting at 6 p.m. (the fireworks are expected to go off around 9 p.m.)

Entry is free, but there is $12 parking free (which will be donated to the local fire and rescue departments).

Enjoy your Fourth lakeside

Enjoy the fireworks with a water view on Lake Wallenpaupack starting at 9:15 p.m. Monday.

Tune into patriotic hits broadcasted by Bold Gold Media’s Classic Hits 105.3 (95-3 DNH).

Parking and seating is available at Lake Wallenpaupack High School, 2552 Route 6, Hawley.

Rain date scheduled for Tuesday.

Big Bang in Eastburg

East Stroudsburg's 2022 "big bang" free Fourth celebration takes place from 5:45 to 9 p.m. on Friday.

Honesdale's salute to America

Take the whole family to Honesdale's Central Park (901 Church Street) for a fun-filled evening of concerts, games and food starting at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks (set to go off over Irving Cliff) will begin after dusk.

The event is free but donations to the Wayne County Creative Arts Alliance are suggested.

Celebrate at Skytop

Skytop Lodge celebrates America's independence with live entertainment starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

The fireworks begin at dusk and there will be a concession stand offering food, along with a cash bar.

Entry is free, but there is a $10 charge per car for non-guests.

Package deal in Lake Ariel

The Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company hosts a parade Sunday, July 3rd at 7 p.m. on Route 191 in the village of Lake Ariel. Fireworks follow at dusk, launched near the lake across the street from the fire company. Fireworks are hosted by the Lake Ariel Cottagers Association, local businesses and public donations. The rain date is July 8.

30th annual 'Extravaganza' in Moscow

Take in a Lackawanna County tradition at the North Pocono Football Stadium, Route 960, Moscow on Saturday.

Gates open at 6 p.m for the free event: The North Pocono 30th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza. Guests are welcome to sit on the bleachers, or bring their own chair or blanket. Enjoy live music by the Luongo Brothers and Gino Mercuri (known as "The Young Elvis") starting at 7 p.m.

Fireworks start at 9 p.m., rain date is Saturday, July 9.

Food and refreshments will be available. Sponsored by the Minisink Lions of North Pocono, all proceeds benefit the community.

City of Carbondale celebrates Independence Day Friday

Head to Carbondale City Hall Friday for a celebration to kick off Independence Day weekend. Enjoy live music and food starting at 5 p.m., then stick around for a fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m.

Live music provided by Gerard Mayer and John Lewis from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
