Poland will send third energy support package to Ukraine

Poland will send a third support package to Ukraine in the near future, supplying the equipment necessary for the restoration of the energy sector.

Details: Piotr Wawrzyk stated that Polish energy companies are organising the supply of equipment necessary for Ukraine's energy sector to Ukraine.

He noted that the first package provided by Poland arrived in Ukraine at the end of November, and the second package arrived at the end of December. Most of the energy support was delivered for the needs of Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.

The Deputy Minister clarified that assistance in the energy sector is provided by the Polish Government Agency for Strategic Reserves and the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

Wawrzyk emphasised that Poland is a coordinator among the EU countries in supporting Ukraine in the energy sector. He also recalled that the Energy Hub was launched in Poland on 26 January. This Hub ensures EU assistance in energy security to Ukraine.
