Pole-Climbing Philadelphia Eagles Fans Escorted Away by Police Amid Win Celebrations

Fans celebrated in the streets of Philadelphia after the Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 on Sunday, January 29, securing their spot in Super Bowl LVII.

Footage by Mark Metzler shows fans climbing onto traffic lights with the help of other celebrants.

Metzler told Storyful that the police pushed the crowd back when they attempted to help the individuals down.

“Some people threw their drinks at the police,” he said.

Storyful contacted the Philadelphia Police Department, who said that they could not comment on the incidents at this stage.
