Poleys celebrating 65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Sonny) Poley of Winter Garden, Florida, formerly of Monroe, are observing their 65th wedding anniversary today. They plan to take a cruise to celebrate at a later date.

Mr. Poley and Joyce Meyers were married April 19, 1958, in Monroe.

The couple’s children and their spouses are Cheryl Churchill, Darryl and Kriste Poley, and Rodney Poley, all of Monroe, and Aaron and Patty Poley of Kalamazoo. They also have 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Poley worked for Ford Motor Co. He was the president of Poley Masonry Construction for more than 40 years, until retiring.

Mrs. Poley worked at Elder-Beerman and for Midwest Express Airlines and Northwest Airlink, retiring in 2001.

She is active with the local Jehovah Witness congregation near their home.

They enjoy traveling and spending time with friends, family and grandchildren.
