Parents of 2-year-old wandering around Fulton County convenience store parking lot located

Union City Police have found the parents of a toddler who was found alone in a parking lot.

Hours ago, police were asking the public for help in finding the parents of a 2-year-old found at a local Quik-Trip Sunday afternoon.

Officers said the African-American child was found at 3:49 pm wearing a pink, Mickey Mouse, long-sleeve t-shirt, pink and white leggings, and pink shoes. They said she was not able to give them a name.

Union City’s Criminal Investigations team was called out to the convenience store at 4745 Jonesboro Road to investigate and try to figure out how the child got to the store.

They took her to the police station and notified Georgia’s Department of Family and Children Services.
