Police identified 3 people fatally shot Friday in Lawrence

Police identified three people killed in a shooting Friday evening, according to the Lawrence Police Department.

Aaliyah Wortman, a 19-year-old from Marion, a city about an hour and a half northeast of Indianapolis, Londyn Coleman, a 19-year-old from Warsaw, and Spencer Lawson, a 27-year-old from Indianapolis were pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting occurred at an apartment complex in the 4400 block of Duxbury Lane around 7:20 p.m., said Lawrence Police Department Deputy Chief Travis Cline.

Police suspect the shooting may have been targeted and there was not an immediate threat to the public.
