Police: 3 suspects tried to steal ATM from Glen Burnie Walgreens
A suspect is in custody Monday while police search for two others in connection with an attempted ATM theft in Anne Arundel County. Around 5 a.m. Monday, a cargo van crashed into the Walgreens on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie, leaving behind a gaping hole where the front entrance used to be, county police said. Police said three suspects used a 2010 white Ford E-350 Econoline van as both battering ram and getaway vehicle. Witnesses told police they observed the trio trying to take the ATM, but they failed.
