Police arrest Sacramento man with handgun attempting to rob Dick’s Sporting Goods

(BCN) — Pleasant Hill police arrested a Sacramento resident on Friday night for allegedly having a handgun while attempting to rob Dick’s Sporting Goods.

1 person arrested with gun charges after traffic stop in Santa Rosa

Police said they pursued the suspect, identified as Lamont Beamon, into the Geraldine neighborhood before taking him into custody in a backyard.

In retracing the foot pursuit, officers located a Glock 19 handgun with a loaded drum magazine. Beamon was arrested and booked into Martinez Detention Facility.
