Police arrest woman accused of threatening others with gun over H-E-B parking spot

A 60-year-old woman accused of pointing a handgun at people at an H-E-B parking lot has been arrested.

On Nov. 24, Corpus Christi Police Department officers were dispatched to the H-E-B in Annaville at the 11100 block of Leopard Street. Officers were told that a female suspect pointed a handgun at victims in the parking lot and threatened to shoot them over a parking space, the department said in a Facebook post.

A video of the incident garnered thousands of shares and likes on social media before officers were able to identify the woman.

Around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, 60-year-old Rossie Dennis was arrested on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Dennis was booked into Nueces County Jail early Wednesday morning.
