Police ask for help searching for missing teen in Tooele County

TOOELE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Police are asking for help searching for a missing 17-year-old girl who was last seen in Tooele City.

The Tooele City Police Department says Faith Mcniven was last seen Thursday evening around 5 p.m. in Tooele City. She was wearing blue pants and a gray and black hoodie.

Police said Friday they believe Mcniven is still in the area. A screenshot of a social media post provided by the police says she allegedly ran away from home.

If you have any information on the incident, police say to call the Tooele County Dispatch using the number 435-882-5600 and selecting “option 1.” They also say to ask for Detective Dorton and reference case 1357.
