Police find bodies of man and woman in West Des Moines home
Police are investigating after two bodies were found in a West Des Moines home Wednesday morning.
According to a news release, West Des Moines police officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of South 100th Street to conduct a welfare check at a residence at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday. Upon entering the residence, officers discovered an adult male and adult female, both of whom were deceased.
The department is investigating the deaths with the assistance of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. Police say they believe there is no threat to the public at this time.
The investigation is ongoing. No other information was immediately available Wednesday evening.
