Demonstrators clashed with police in Portland, Oregon, in the early hours of July 18, with eyewitnesses sharing video of officers rushing towards people.
Portland Police tweeted that a protest had been declared an “unlawful assembly” and ordered people to leave. “Failure to follow this direction may subject you to arrest, citation, or use of force including crowd control munitions,” police said.
