Police Drag Protesters Away From Trooping the Colour Parade

A group of protesters from Animal Rebellion attempted to disrupt the Platinum Jubilee Trooping the Colour parade in London on June 2.

Footage released by the group shows several protesters climbing over fences onto The Mall in London before being dragged away from the parade by police.

The Metropolitan Police said “a number of arrests” were made for “highway obstruction” at around 10 am local time.

Animal Rebellion said they were protesting due to “the Crown’s inaction on the climate emergency and their continued support for meat, fishing, and dairy, a leading contributor to climate breakdown.”
