Police Foundation of Kansas City hosts annual ‘Call For BackUp’ event

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Police Foundation of Kansas City (PFKC) will host its annual “A Call For BackUp” event Friday night.

A Call For BackUp is the largest event of the year that benefits PFKC, the only local nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for the police department’s public safety programs.

During the event, the foundation has a tribute planned for the victims of the Super Bowl Parade shooting and the brave officers who took immediate action.

Rob Riggle is the keynote speaker at the event. He is an Emmy-nominated comedian, actor, retired Marine Corps officer and Kansas City area native.

The event is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Kansas City Marriott Muehlebach Tower.
