Police ID 24-year-old Chesapeake man killed in Saturday shooting

Police have identified a 24-year-old man killed in a shooting Saturday in Chesapeake.

Rashee Parson, of Chesapeake, died from injuries sustained during the midday shooting in a residential area near Campostella Road.

On Saturday, police responded to the 3000 block of Parkside Drive at about 12:30 p.m. after receiving reports that man had been shot and was in a breezeway.

Parson was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
