Police ID 51-year-old woman killed in 3-car crash Monday morning that injured 4

Delaware State Police have identified the 51-year-old woman killed in a three-car crash in Delmar Monday on morning as Angela Daniels of Delmar, Maryland.

Daniels was driving north on Sussex Highway (Route 13), just south of Snake Road, at 6:15 a.m. when a 19-year-old heading south on Sussex Highway crossed the median for unknown reasons and hit her, police said. Both cars spun, according to police, and the 19-year-old's vehicle hit a third car.

Daniels, Daniels' passenger, the 19-year-old and the 64-year-old driver of the third car were all taken to the hospital, police said. There, Daniels was pronounced dead, according to police, and the 19-year-old was in critical condition as of Monday afternoon.
