- We have new information surrounding the shooting death of an 11-year-old boy that happened in Philadelphia's Oxford Circle neighborhood. An arrest warrant was issued today for the accused shooter. Police say they are searching for 19-year-old Khaleek Cooper-Baldwin in connection with the killing of Harley Belance.
Last Friday, Belance and his 14-year-old friend were riding a scooter on the 1500 block of McKinley Street when shots were fired. Belance is one of several children who have been recent victims of the skyrocketing gun violence across Philadelphia. Today, during a meeting about crime in the city, Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said that her department is working to address the growing problem.
