Police identifies woman found dead in Aberdeen

Jul. 28—The Aberdeen Police Department has identified a woman found dead Wednesday in the 100 block of East Inca Street in Aberdeen

Shortly after 5 p.m., Wednesday, officers and paramedics from the Aberdeen Fire Department responded to a call for a cardiac arrest. When they arrived, officers found 20-year-old Kayla Hamilton dead, with injuries consistent with a homicide, according to police.

The police department did not provide any further information about the victim or specifics about where she was found.

The victim was transported to the office of the chief medical examiner in Baltimore to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
