Police identify Falkville man killed in two-vehicle crash

Sep. 28—Priceville police have identified the Falkville man killed in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning on Alabama 67 near Shoal Creek Road.

Jason Byron Hart, 45, was found dead at the scene by responding officers around 5 a.m., according to Priceville Police Chief Jerry Holmes. Holmes said Hart's vehicle had collided with a semitrailer.

The driver of the semitrailer was uninjured, according to Holmes.

"Traffic was locked down for about four hours," he said. "We got it cleared up somewhere around 8:30 or 9 a.m. this morning."

Priceville police are continuing to investigate the crash.
