Police identify victim of deadly shooting in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is searching for a suspect in a deadly shooting on Sunday, Feb. 25.

Cesar Ayala-Ortiz, 21 was killed in a shooting which took place around 5:50 p.m. in the 12000 block of Florida Boulevard.

“Detectives believe Ayala-Ortiz was shot after having a verbal and physical altercation,” according to BRPD.

Three men arrested after marijuana, cocaine, cash found during search of Baton Rouge home

BRPD said the unknown suspect was gone by the time they arrived at the scene.
